Medical services can be called upon whenever they are needed during preparation camps, according to athletes’ needs.

Doctors from the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at the Regional Teaching Hospital will be on call and will be in direct contact with the different delegations’ staff in order to coordinate treatment. They will help you to get fast access to hospital and private health facilities.

CIMRAD, regroupement de centres d’imagerie médicale, proposera, en partenariat avec les services hospitaliers publiques, de mettre à disposition un plateau d’imagerie de haute technologie : 3 IRM 3 Tesla et une IRM 1,5 Tesla, 3 scanners; un système EOS ainsi que du matériel radiographique standard et échographique permettant une prise en charge diagnostique et thérapeutique optimale du sportif.

The COPS will obviously play a key role in athletes’ recovery, but municipal swimming pools will also offer special access in order to provide precious moments of relaxation.

Lastly, an individualised program for injured athletes will offer specific immersion programs.
